Professional Compliance Officer (f/m) - Fiscal Reporting Compliance limited for 2 years

The Financial Crime Department (FCM), an organizational unit within our Compliance division, is responsible for group-wide standards and management of Fiscal Reporting Compliance (FRC), a topic dealing with the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), the US Qualified Intermediary regime (QI) and the Common reporting Standard (CRS). To strengthen our dynamic team, we are currently looking for a motivated and results driven Professional Compliance Officer:

What you can expect:

  • Manage, steer and ensure that RBI’s Group entities comply with FRC Group standards
  • Perform quality sample checks of data, processes and procedures
  • Perform detailed root cause analyses and propose improvement actions
  • Perform regular follow-ups regarding the improvement implementation progress
  • Communicate all relevant information to the affected stakeholders
  • Ensure proper data and reporting quality for steering and regulatory purposes
  • Support, plan, design, execute and evaluate change and processes with regard to our digitalization and change strategy
  • Monitor and analyze market standards, regulations as well as best practices in Austria and relevant regions
  • Your ambition is to identify potential for new ways of working within our department (new collaboration technologies, new (agile) approaches etc.)

What you bring to the table:
  • University degree in Business Informatics/Economics/Business Law/Business Administration/Project Management or comparable studies
  • Experience in banking with understanding of banking products and the standard processes of a bank or in tax advisory in a reputable audit/tax firm
  • Solid Know-How in Fiscal Reporting Compliance regimes
  • High affinity to Compliance, Risk Management
  • First Project Management experience, including a structured and organized way of working; attention to details
  • Basic change management skills backed by strong multi-cultural sensitivity
  • CEE working experience preferable
  • Excellent English and German skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Willingness to travel (max. 20%)
  • Strong team player with professional approach to work
