As one of the largest and technologically most advanced company groups in its industry, our client produces in many international locations and serves a global customer base. The company believes in achieving sustainable dynamic growth through investment in new technologies, fostering the employees’ talents and seeing the world as a single, global marketplace. In our current assignment, we will be filling the position of a Global Head of Talent Management for our client, based in the Vienna headquarters office.

The duties and responsibilities of the future position holder will cover:

  • Ensure ongoing Leadership Development processes that effectively enable all company managers to lead the organization toward achievement of strategic targets
  • Develop and administer Succession Planning processes which focus on building bench strength to meet current and future business needs
  • In alignment with Global HR Operations, oversee the consistent global performance management process
  • Identify and/or develop company-wide or individual learning initiatives that cost effectively focus on employee development toward achievement of both business and personal career goals
  • Research latest development in management, leadership and organization development areas to serve as a subject matter expert and consult to organization regarding critical people issues

Position requirements will be:

  • Master’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR and a minimum of 5 years in a training/development leadership role including staff management
  • Profound experience in working in international manufacturing company group surroundings
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into organization development plans; Results-oriented and "hands-on" approach
  • Team player, independent thinker, strong customer focus
  • Strong project management skills; Previous Lean or Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience
  • Excellent English language skills, German language skills are an asset
  • Experience working with a global HRIS system; Solid knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of global HR Processes and Policies
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
