In the second day of operation of the Czech toll collection system, some CZK 7 million were collected by the builder of the system, Austrias Kapsch, Kapsch TrafficCom board member Erwin Toplak told journalists Tuesday.

In the first days of operation, January 1, some CZK 800,000 were collected but it was a holiday, he added.

The total number of vehicles which must pay tolls is estimated at 80,000, according to the data of the Transport Ministry.

The necessary units are delivered to some 72,000 of them.

There were some problems with the distribution of on-board units in some regions.
