Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik talked Friday with Austrian Ambassador to BIH Werner Almhofer on the current political and economic situation in RS and BIH. He introduced Almhofer with results of the general elections in BIH and expressed his conviction that all levels of the authority in RS will be formed very fast, the RS Governments Public Relations Bureau reported.Touching on reform processes in BIH, the RS Prime Minister briefed the Austrian Ambassador on already known stances regarding the police reform and stressed that a compromise on police reform should be achieved by representatives of the domestic authority, without any pressures from the side. The Prime Minister and the Ambassador discussed also on possibilities of improvement of the economy cooperation between Austria and RS, and Dodik stressed a need of larger presence of companies from Austria in RS. He especially expressed a need that these companies take part in construction of roads in RS and indicated that RS needs an experts assistance from Austria, for development of the forest sector management. The RS Prime Minister called on companies from Austria to take part in privatisation of the state capital in RS firms, and introduced Almhofer that the RS Government plans to direct 60 per cent of resources received from Telekom Srpske privatisation as a direct support to employment, and the remaining resources for financing of infrastructure projects.
