Austrian minister of foreign affairs, Ursula Plassnik, will be visiting Serbia during the next two days.

According to announcements, Plassnik will meet with Serbian Finance Minister Mladjan Dinkic on Thursday evening, while meetings with President Boris Tadic and Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica were scheduled for Friday.

Plassnik will be in Belgrade during the last two days of Austrias presiding over the EU. Most media and diplomatic sources believe that this is Brussels’ and Vienna’s way of showing that the EU is strongly supporting Serbias European perspective.
