Tell me more

  • This is a new and exciting role based in Salzburg and with responsibility for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and the new Nordics region (Sweden, Denmark, Finland).

  • Reporting to the group people team, you’ll be a guardian of the group principles with the freedom to develop a local people plan that builds on those principles and works brilliantly for the regional teams.

  • You’ll be responsible for everything and anything in the world of people – from recruitment through to L&D, change management, talent management, reward and performance.

  • As a critical part of the DACH & Nordics senior leadership team, you’ll have a dotted line to the regional board director and work closely with the leadership teams – you’ll be a coach, sounding board and trusted advisor.

  • You’ll have at least one direct report and also dotted line responsibilities so we need your people management to be great as well.

What we’re looking for

  • You are passionate about HR, a ‘doer’ who can switch easily between the operational and strategic stuff.

  • Fluent in German and strong in English (a Nordic language as well would be brilliant), have international experience and have worked remotely, and be able to travel at least once per month.

  • You have extensive experience in all of the key areas within HR including making change happen through commercial business partnering at a senior level.

  • Experience with working in an international FMCG company

  • Knowledge and experience in employment law across the DACH and Nordic regions

  • A track record of building authentic, credible relationships cross-functionally

  • Expertise in managing the recruitment of the highest calibre people at all levels, including leadership roles

  • Experience of facilitating talent development programmes, succession planning and L&D

  • Excellent insight and judgement around people issues

  • Ability to manage a demanding, flexible workload when lots of people want some of your time

  • Experience in building strong, well developed recommendations and presenting with impact to a variety of audiences

  • Demonstrable success in designing and facilitating team interventions

  • You love a challenge with flawless execution of the basics – you get things right first time

  • Great problem solving skills, someone who loves a challenge and tackles things in a pragmatic way

  • Trustworthy and credible and have a natural and human approach to people management

What you will get from the role

  • You’ll get the chance to shape and drive the people agenda within the DACH and Nordic teams during a period of growth and change – an exciting time to be joining this team.

  • You’ll be the person who connects the group and local teams as a key member of both the group people team and also the regional senior leadership team.

  • This is a great opportunity to work right at the heart of the business, with some enormously talented people shaping the business.

  • Possibility to actively contribute to the successful development of the DACH & Nordics markets.

  • Competitive package: basic salary with a bonus system (gross annual salary starting at EUR 70.000,-), laptop, mobile phone
