With headquarters in Innsbruck, Austria, MED-EL has over 1800 employees around the world. In support of our continuing growth, we currently have an open position with focus on:

Main Tasks

  • Development of embedded software/firmware in C/C++
  • Design and specification of requirements
  • Development, execution and documentation of verification and validation tests
  • Documentation of design according to quality system and regulatory requirements
  • Coordination with project leader

Requirements

  • Degree level in computer science, electronic, electrical, or communications engineering or equivalent technical education
  • Good programming skills in C or C++
  • Hands-on experience of programming embedded devices / firmware development, ideally on ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers
  • Experience with standard communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I²C, UART), Bluetooth Low Energy or layered communication architectures would be a plus
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, written and spoken English

Salary will be determined based on professional experience; the formal minimum salary according to Collective Bargaining Agreement is EUR 34,013.28
