Head of Sales Alpine Cluster (Switzerland + Austria)

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of overall Sales Target (Top line + budget), focus on independents but also supporting Key Account and buying groups sales/activities
  • Development and implementation of sales strategy
  • Managing a team of up to 9 associates
  • Maximizes sales force effectiveness through efficient Sales resource allocation (manpower & non-manpower resources), territory management, advanced customer targeting and competitive trade terms
  • Planning, briefing and implementation of the quarterly field sales activities, sales call objectives, structure and focus. Lead and coordinate SF cycle meetings.
  • Sales Force capability development, training and coaching (technical & business), including guidance in business economical decisions and customer issue management
  • Sales Force focus and motivation through implementation of SF rewarding systems
  • Anticipates new market trends & communicates customer needs in order to ensure appropriate organisational/structural developments and marketing initiatives.
  • Option for the position to be located in SWITZERLAND or AUSTRIA

Profile

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in optical industry or consumer/pharma/OTC
  • 3 years team leadership experience, ideally field force or customer oriented area
  • Optical customer understanding (glasses, frames or contact lenses) will be considered an asset
  • Fluent in English, German (Written and spoken) and ideally French
  • Capability and interest for contact lens technical argumentation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Travelling up to 70% (mainly in Austria & Switzerland)
