PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

  • demonstrate leadership – provide thought leadership, build successful engagement teams, and ensure the success of our client by aligning strategy with IT
  • be accountable for commercial targets – meet own P&L and revenue targets within the account; grow services revenue, drive solution adoption, and create opportunities in product sales, including custom development projects, 3rd party, and cloud solutions
  • deliver projects – lead engagements through to go live and beyond

  • drive customer satisfaction via successful outcomes
  • run end-to-end engagements within your area, from initial value proposition through to go live and adoption
  • develop a strong network into SAP, including executives in product development, services and support
  • create and position thought leadership material relevant to our client’s industry
  • build teams and professionally manage engagements by drawing on SAP’s broad consulting organization
  • contribute to strengthening current solutions and creating new ones
  • achieve trusted advisor status with our client and build the SAP brand
  • participation in SAP implementation projects


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Functional Experiences

  • Experience in customer’s industries
  • Deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain, Finance & Controlling, Manufacturing & Production, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, Business Analytics, R&D Organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and lead delivery of large engagements
  • Experienced in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs
  • Exposed to IT-related topics, including but not limited to: big data and analytics, in-memory computing, cloud, ERP, and specific functional solutions

Managerial Experience

  • Ideally had ownership of own P&L and revenue targets as part of consulting engagements
  • Successfully managed C-level client relationships and internal stakeholders
  • Lead virtual and project teams including delivery management
  • Developed, coached and mentored more junior colleagues

Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of current and future trends in industry and the impact on business strategies
  • Can speak business on an executive management level
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP Solution portfolio
  • Exemplary executive-level presentation and written/spoken communication skills


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 10+ years professional work experience in a top-tier consulting or technology firm
