Group Product Manager for Power Electronics (f/m)


Location: Europe: Austria (Headquarters): Graz

Department: Instrumentation and Test Systems

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the entire development of the product line(s) within the framework of the business unit strategy for the Universal Inverter and E-ME
  • Business Development Tasks:
  • Defining and monitoring of the R&D budget planning for the product line(s)
  • Defining of the logistical and marketing-oriented product structure
  • Quoting standard and non-standard products or systems similar to the product lines
  • Operative Tasks:
  • Executing the Product Innovation Process (PIP): defining market requirements including performance, cost, and price; analyzing the competition, performing the entire product lifecycle activities including marketing and product launch
  • Planning the technical and economic aspects of the replacement of components and products in close cooperation with the local product managers
  • Choosing and negotiating with sub-suppliers worldwide
  • Communicating product release notes (beta & final) to sales and PL-OF/PL-CP
  • SBU-wide harmonization of the technical specifications of products
  • Organizing and carrying out product trainings for marketing & sales

Your Profile:

  • University graduate for engineering studies, preferably in the field of electrical engineering, or industrial engineering and management
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop systems as well as power electronics, electrical powertrain components and systems
  • 3 years working experience in a similar position
  • Strong business analysis and strategy development skills
  • Pronounced customer and service-orientation
  • Self-directed and pro-active approach to work
  • Confident user of standard IT applications
  • Excellent communication skills and very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)
  • Availability to travel for customer and supplier visits

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 46,000.--. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
