Dragan Vrankic, Minister of Finance of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BH) and Deputy President of the BH Council of Ministers, and Angelo Rizzuti, Director of Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, signed in Vienna two loan agreements, reports Neovisni Online Biznis Magazin.

The first agreement is aimed at the implementation of the project of constructing waterworks and sewage systems of Gradiska municipality, while the second one is related to the construction of a water-processing plant in the District of Brcko.

The agreement on construction of the waterworks and sewage systems includes a credit of EUR 5 million with the payment deadline set at 15.5 years and with a grace period of six year. The interest rate for this loan is 0.55 per cent.

The second loan agreement which finances construction of tap water processing plant in Brcko is worth EUR 4,961,979, with a grace period of five years and payment deadline of 14.5 years. There is no interest rate pegged to this loan.

The signing of these crediting agreements stems from the agreement on financial cooperation between the BH Council of Ministers and the Austrian Government, which was agreed and signed on March 30, 2006.
