President of the Government of the Republic of Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik signed an agreement on strategic partnership with the Austrian company Alpine Mayreder Bau GmbH, reports Investitor.ba.
The agreement specifies cooperation in the area of highway construction and realisation of projects in the sectors of energy, railroads and apartment construction.
The agreement foresees signing a contract on construction of a highway network on the territory of RS, over 400 km long, in line with international standards.
Dodik said that the signed Agreement sets grounds for engagement of Alpine in other major investment projects in RS as well, especially related to construction of residential buildings, railroad traffic and energy sector.
The agreement also foresees that dynamics of implementation of projects will be specified with individual contracts, and that priority in conducting construction work will be given to RS companies.
Alpine Director Hans-Jürgen Miko was Alpines signatory to the agreement on strategic partnership with RS. RS Minister of transport Nedeljko Cubrilovic and President of the RS Chamber of Commerce Borko Djuric were also present at the signing of the agreement.
