Krentschker bank, Austrias largest private bank based in Styria, opened a branch office for brokerage in Zagreb

Krentschker bank, Austrias largest private bank based in Styria, opened a branch office for brokerage in Zagreb. This is the company’s first investment outside Austria. The bank plans to expand this subsidiary into an investment company in spring 2007, which would be used for registering of the banks existing funds in Austria.

For now its Zagreb office will only operate with brokerage activities. The bank also plans to create EUR 20 million worth business in Croatia.

The banks assets stand at EUR 1 billion, while the bank has the capital of EUR 70 million. Currently, Krentschker bank has 12,000 clients and 98 per cent of its shares are owned by Styria Savings.
