Energy company UNIS Energetika from Sarajevo has secured EUR 2.56 million (BAM 5 million) for the renovation of the heating plant in Travnik thanks to Hypo Alpe Adria Leasing, the Sarajevo daily Dnevni Avaz has reported.

UNIS Energetika also secured 15,000 tonnes of coal which is necessary for the next season. This company acquired the heating plant in Travnik for EUR 369,231 (BAM 720,000).

UNIS Energetika will immediately employ 55 workers in the heating plant in Travnik. The plant will start operating in mid-September.

Municipal officials in Travnik has given great support to UNIS Energetika and they also expect EUR 1.13 million (BAM 2.2 million) from the Muslim-Croat Federation government for the improvement of municipal central heating system.
