The Croatian National Bank (HNB) Council today greenlighted the acquisition of over 75 per cent of shares in the stock capital of Gospodarsko Kreditna Banka (GKB) by Veneto Banca s.c.p.a., Montebelluna (Treviso).

It also allowed Wuestenrot Versicherungs Aktiengesellschaft, Salzburg, to take over more than 20 per cent of the stock capital of Wuestenrot savings house, based in Zagreb.
